Holy Week Schedule

Tuesday, March 18th.  Masses at 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.  Please note there will be no noon Mass.  Bishop Barbarito invites everyone to the Chrism Mass at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola, 9999 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Wednesday, March 19th.  Masses at 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m. and 12 noon.  The Anointing of the Sick will be after each of the Masses.  Confessions will be after the 8:30 a.m. and 12 noon Masses.  The Lenten Reconciliation Service is at 7:00 p.m. in the Church.

Holy Thursday, March 20th.  The Mass of the Lord's Supper will be at 7:00 p.m.  The Blessed Sacrament will be at the Altar of Repose in the Chapel for Adoration until 11:00 p.m. 

Good Friday, March 21st.  Stations of the Cross at 2:30 p.m. in the Church.  Liturgical Service at 3:00 p.m. in the Church.  Confessions will be heard immediately following the Liturgical Service in the Chapel.

Saturday, March 22nd.  The Easter Vigil Mass is at 7:00 p.m.  There will be no 4:30 p.m. Mass.

Easter Sunday, March 23rd.  The Sunrise Mass will be in the plaza at 7:00 a.m.  No seating is provided except for the handicapped so please bring a lawn chair.  Breakfast will be served in the parish hall immediatly after Mass for a charge of $5.00.  Masses are at 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12 noon and 1:30 p.m.  The Family Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. as there will be no 5:30 p.m. Mass.

 

 

Adoration Chapel

The Most Blessed Sacrament is exposed 24 hours a day in the Adoration Chapel.  If you wish to participate in the opportunity to spend time in silent prayer before the Lord and bring many blessing to yourself, your family and our parish, please contact:

First Friday Adoration is observed on the first Friday of each month for 24 hours.

Emmaus Scripture Study is a place for women to gather to learn, fellowship and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

When:  Starts Sept. 8th  Thursdays  9:30am - 11:00am

Where:  Parish Hall, Room 8

 

We will be studying "Courageous Virtue" a bible study on Moral Excellence for Women.

 

Bereavement Support

 

"Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted."  Mt. 5:4, NAB

 

This is a ministry of listening, consoling and caring which provides support to survivors of deceased parishioners.  If you would like to volunteer for this ministry or are in need of Bereavement Support Services, contact Vickie Smeltzer at 747-0074 or Helen Coughter at 747-1059

Join Us on Tuesday Mornings at 9:00 AM in the Parish Hall.  Hand and Machine Sewers are needed to make blankets for migrant families.  Good Fun, Good Fellowship, Wonderful Ministry. Join the Tootsie Roll Club and support the Charitable Works of the K of C 
 We invite our parishioners to donate flowers in memory of a loved one, or perhaps to mark a special occasion (i.e.: Anniversary, Graduation, Birthday).  If you are interested, please stop by the parish office, Tuesday - Friday.  The Cost is $60.00

Our Lady's Rosary Prayer Group

 

Come and join us on Tuesday evenings at 5:15 PM in the Chapel for an hour of Prayer, Devotion and Peace.  If you have any questions or would like additional information, please call Mary at 744-7683

 

Rosary after Weekday Morning Masses

 

Everyone is invited to join in praying the Rosary each weekday Monday through Friday after the 7:30AM and 8:30AM Masses.

 

Devotion to Mary is always the First Saturday of the month after the 8:30 AM Mass.  All are invited.

Unscheduled Masses for the Living and Deceased

Fr. Tom has made arrangements to have Masses said on a specific date by missionary priests in different countries.  Your Mass intentions will be printed in the weekly bulletin.  Please contact the Parish Office for more information.

Registration: All permanent and seasonal residents are requested to register in the parish.  Registration forms are available in the parish office and are printed in the weekly bulletin.  Please fill one out and drop it in the Collection Basket or register on-line

Respect For Life

 

Respect for Life promotes Church teachings on natural family planning, chastity education, and helping the handicapped, elderly and poor.  It   teaches against the death penalty, abortion, euthanasia, and immoral medical research.  It supports adoption and offers help to women and men in cases of unplanned pregnancies.  It also offers help for people suffering from the painful effects of post-abortion syndrome.  If you have questions regarding the program or are seeking help in any of these areas please call Cindy Collins at 748-1824

Please  help those less fortunate by dropping your coins in the Poor Boxes located in the Church. 

For clothing and furniture pickup call 845-0562.  Pickup in this area is on Thursday's.  The St. Vincent de Paul office is closed on Mondays.

St. Jude Gift Shop

The Gift Shop is located at the main entrance of the Church.  The Shop is open on Saturday before and after the 4:30PM Mass and Sunday's after the 9:00 AM Mass until 1:30PM.  The Gift Shop is closed during the week.

 

 Novena To St. Jude
Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus,  the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of difficult  cases, of things almost despaired of, Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone.
Intercede with God for me that He bring visible and speedy help where help is  almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive  the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and  sufferings, particularly -

- and that I may praise  God with you and all the saints forever. I promise, O Blessed St. Jude, to be  ever mindful of this great favor granted me by God and to always honor you as  my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you.
